I like loud music, I like many DJ sets of the two protagonists, I like it when there’s a “connection” between the DJ and the crowd. Aside from the fact that indeed the music was loud, what bugged me most was:

• not enough room for dancing, too crowded (yes, I think that’s possible)
• didn’t like most of the DJ sets as they had no “soul” IMHO
• the whole event didn’t have the “spirit” that was there some years ago

Maybe this is the way it is when you are in your 30s…so what’s the conclusion here for me?

I won’t go to such a big and heavily advertised event next time (at least if its not the VIP area, haha). I think the more interesting stuff happens at the little clubs where there’s a direct connection between the people and the artist (and that is something that is very important for making my daynight).

Thanks to clubfeeling.de I won the tickets for the evening, so I was not even having to pay for it *nice* (nothing is more annoying than thinking: “Man, we’ve paid 30 bucks each, so we gotta stay, although the party doesn’t really rock.”) …they have some better pics too, in case you want to take a look or two.
